• Description:

  This is a 2nd generation cased Colt Model 1862 Pocket Police percussion revolver chambered in 36 caliber.  Barrel is 5 1/2" with an excellent, bright strong bore.  Metal surfaces are blued, case colored and silver finished.  The barrel shows a few minor storage blemishes that have been touched up while retaining overall excellent blued finish.  Cylinder is also blued and shows a minor dragline.  Frame and lever are case colored while the gripframe is silver with some age tarnishing.  Grips show minor handling marks.  The original Colt black wooden hinged case has a brass Colt disk inlayed on the lid "COLT AUTHENTIC BLACKPOWER"  The case holds the revolver and a powder flask, a dual cavity bullet mold that will cast a conical and round ball. It also contains an empty Eley Bros cap tin, combination tool and key.  The box has some scuffs, scratches and dings.  The interior is velvet lined with some compression marks and light wear.
