  SN 171818 is a Pattern 1914 Enfield rifle built by Eddystone.  This example is all matching, bolt, receiver and rear sight.  The bore rates very good to excellent.  This piece was probably reissued in WWII and was upgraded to the Pattern Star .  The original blue rates at 95%.  The wood was cleaned at some time but still shows remnants of the inspection stamps.  A very good to excellent example fo a Pattern 1914 .
