  An excellent large flask by James Dixon and Son, Sheffield.  This copper body flask is 8 3/4 by 3 3/4".  The collar and charger are brass.  The front face shows detailed hanging game in clear sharp detail.  James Dixon and Son at the base.  This piece remains in excellent condition. The charger is clearly marked but it is missing its spring. Overall excellent condition for a 19th century game flask by one of the most respected makers. See "The Powder Flask" by Ray Riling.
