• Description:

  SN3022 is a British Martini Carbine originally built in 1882 at NA & A Co. Ltd. as a MK III/1 rifle as per the right side of the receiver in 1895. This piece was converted to carbine configeration as a ME 303 MK 1 as per left side of the receiver. This carbine shows a 21" barrel with a bright shootable 303 ME bore.  The top of the receiver shows the NZ broad arrow mark and #98.  This carbine shows the E (Enfield rifling) mark on the Knox form and the DP markings when it was reissued as a cadet trainer. With sound action, clear markings it has   sound wood but shows obvious issue and usage marks.
