An original airbrush rendering by Canada's First fulltime aviation artist, Graham Wragg, this piece was commissioned in 1970 and is a ME BP 109 E-3 that was flown by Oblt. Franz Von Werra in The Battle of Britain. This work is 15 1/2" by 6 1/4" and is in a frame 20 3/4" by 11 3/4". The work shows great detail and color. The pilot had 13 victories but was shot down on his 10th mission over England on the 5th of Sept. 1940. Graham Wragg's work is found in the National Gallery of Canada, War Art collection. A great piece for the aircraft art collector.
