  This rifle is a Parker Hale 303 Custom Sporting rifle as customized by Parker Hale.  21" cold forged barrel, PH barrel with a mint 303 caiber bore.  The custom stock is walnut with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece, hand checkered with a PH double vented recoil pad.  Parker Hale serial #E89, LOP 14 1/2, the rifle is mounted with a B-square mount, weaver rings and an excellent German digatal Z 6 X 42 T scope with crystal clear optics.  A super rifle for the 303 caliber fan and not a home built sporter.  This rifle is shown on page 22 of the PH No. 73-4 Export Catalogue.  The scope is a classic highly rated Zeiss scope.
