Ross Nickel Parade Bayonet

• Description:

  Ross nickel-plated bayonet built for dress parades dated 12/15.  See page 328 "Ross Rifle Story".  This bayonet remains in excellent plus condition with brushed nickel finish on blade.  The ricasso, back shows bright nickel.  Clear crisp markings with ownership and inspector marks.  The top of the pommel shows #T5137.  The wood grips rate excellent with inspector marks.  The scabbard is dated 1914 and is a MK 1 with C broad arrow markings on the excellent plus leather.  Both pieces show no sign of actual military usage.
