• Description:

  U.S. Civil war era (1864-1865)  repeating carbine.  This is one of only an estimated 5,000 Triplett and Scott built.  This example is one of only 2000 22" barrel carbines built and contracted to the State of Kentucky.  This carbine shows a bright excellent bore and most of its' original blue and trace of case color on the hammer and frame. The wood rates very good to excellent with a professional repair of the crack in the butt as found on practically all examples.  A scarce carbine to find in Canada ( Ref. see Flaydermans 93-101.)
