  • Description:

Antique Civil War rifled musket built by Alfred Jenks & Son located in Bridesburg, Penn.  The lock is marked U.S. Bridesburg, U.S. eagle and dated 1863.  This was one of the larger rifle contractors during the Civil War.  This is an attractive example which remains in its original "in the white metal finish"  with clear markings JM and proofs.  Sight shows original blue, walnut stock remains sound.  The bore shows black powder overall corrosion.  This example comes with its original U.S. bayonet, scabbard and leather frog.  The leather shows its' age but is complete with sound stitching.  An overall very good to excellent example of a U.S. Civil War musket.
