  SN 293994 is a 1894 Winchester 38-55 caliber built 1904.  This rifle shows a bright excellent bore and is mounted with the Model 21 Lyman receiver sight built for the 1894.  The action is smooth and functions perfectly.  The barrel and tube show an old refinish.  The wood is correct and sound showing , no breaks or cracks.  The old 1894 would be an excellent piece for the classic hunter or shooter.  We have test fired the rifle and it works very well.
