• Description:

  SN919567 is a special order Winchester 94 lightweight built in 1923.  This late rifle shows a 26" round barrel with a half magazine.  The caliber is 38-55 with a bright excellent bore.  The barrel shows 98% original bright blue with clear crisp markings.  The frame shows the original milling striations with trace blue to the rear and on the bolt.  All of the screw slots are sharp indicating that the rifle was never disassembled.  The wood retains most of its original finish with normal usage wear.  The right side of the forestock shows an old 2" grain crack that does not extend to the edge of the stock.  This 94 is an example of "out of the closet" piece that was put away for many years until it was recently acquired by our firm.  The weight of the rifle is 7.2 pounds.  A scarce example with the 1/2 mag and in the 38-55 caliber.
