  This is a wonderfully perserved WWI 1916 dated Luger P08 brown leather holster by R Max Philipp in Niederschelemai Erzg.  Holster retains its original light russet brown color with only minor to light crackling and crazing on the top flap.  The stitching is tight and original and the strap is intact with a bit of a "set" just below the 3 adjustment holes.  The leather has a light sheen that catches the eye.  The inside of the flap contains crisp and strong maker and date.  So many of these WWI holsters have been lost or seen extremely hard use.  We're pleased to offer this fine example for the collector.
