• Description:

  Winchester 1886 1/2 mag rifle in 45-90 caliber.  This piece shows a bright excellent and very shootable bore in the 26" barrel.  The barrel shows clear markings and original faded blue finish 90%.  The bolt shows 70% finish.  The receiver has turned silvered grey. The wood is original to the rifle and is sound with only one minor chip in the butt.  Built 1909 as per Madis.  A rifle that handles 2 cartridges 45-90 and the popular 45-70.  A sound example.
