  SN B59874 is a WW1 French short rifle  with original bayonet. This example shows a bright excellent bore and sound action in 8 x 50 R caliber, 5 round magazine and a 37.5" overall length.  For reference see "Bolt Action Military Rifles of the World" by Mowbray & Pulco.  This example comes with original bayonet built and modified for this short rifle.  The 1916  Muscatoon was modified from the French 1890 calvary carbine.  A relatively scarce carbine with a scarce bayonet.
