SN BB9664 is a Jungle Carbine built by BSA 1945. This example shows a bright excellent bore, No 1 bolt head and all matching numbers. The finish is all factory original and the fore stock shows the BB9660 while most of the parts show M/47C. The original sling shows the English broad arrow mark. There is a small 1 1/2" x 1/4" armors repair on right side above the magazine which is hardly visible from the side view. The BB serial range indicates a scarce variation as it was was used in rifle gernade trials which may account for repair. The rifle has seen very little usage and so remains in collector grade condition.
