• Description:

  Sn 77181 D is a Lee Enfield S.M.L.E. MKIII dated 1939 and built at Ishapore arsenal.  In this period ,the arsenal was operated by the British producing the same quality of rifle as the English facilities.  This 303 shows a bright very good to excellent bore, matching bolt and rear sight.  The slot for the cut-off remains but the cut-offs were not installed during the period of manufacture.   The wood remains in sound condition showing normal service usage.  A slightly scarce variation for the collector.
