• Description:

  SN145712 is a factory 1/2 mag rifle built in 1897.  This rifle shows its' original octagon 24" barrel with its' original sights and a bright very good shootable bore, with slight corrosion and sound rifling.  The 1/2 mag in this model appears to have been a special order.  Marlins in this configeration and the 1894 are quite scarce.  This rifle shows an overall brown/blue finish.  The case colored receiver had gone silver.  The wood is sound and shows the remnance of original finish. Note: there is a small crack running in the top left hand corner of the frame to the tang,approximately one half inch.
