  NSN is a Ross Mark II.  This is one of the less common Ross military variations .See "The Ross Rifle Story" by John Chadwick at page 117, plate 125 A.  This is a great parts gun or a piece to be rebuilt.  28" barrel with a bright very good to excellent bore.  It is mounted with a scarce Ross MK3 rear sight 4.* Sound bolt and action .  The wood is sound.  This could be a good project piece or very scarce and hard to obtain parts. This item can be restocked and rebuilt to create a good and scarcer variation.  Parts guns are sold on a non return basis.  Non restricted.
