  SN 13870 is a BSA Sporting Model 6 take down 22 LR rifle.  This Model 6 take down was introduced by BSA in 1912.  This pre war example shows all matching numbers, bright excellent bore and all original BSA front, barrel and tang sights.  The barrel sight shows three leaves, 25, 50 and 100 yards.  The blue is all original with clear markings.  The finish shows its' obvious usage as does the original wood finish.  This model is quite scarce compared to the more common military cadet trainers.
